Terms of Service

A good relationship between a customer and a contractor is built on trust and clear rules.

To avoid any confusion during the painting work, here are the simple terms and conditions we follow at TricityPainter:

1. Fixed Pricing & Estimates

Once I visit your site, take measurements, and give you a final estimate, the price is locked. There will be no hidden charges. The cost will only change if you add new walls or ask for extra work such as extra polish or texture that was not in the original deal.

2. Color Selection & Changes

Customers must confirm the exact paint shades and specific colors before the material is purchased. Once a specific color is mixed by the authorized dealer and the paint buckets are opened at the site, the color cannot be changed or returned without incurring the additional cost of new material.

3. Guarantee of Original Material

We use 100% genuine products from authorized dealers. You are completely free to check the Asian Paints, Berger, or Dulux buckets before my team opens them. Quality is my promise.

4. Hidden Structural Dampness

While we treat wall dampness and seepage with the best waterproofing chemicals, we cannot guarantee the paint will not spoil if the root cause is a hidden internal plumbing leak. Structural leaks must be fixed by a plumber to ensure the paint lasts.

5. Payment System

  • We take a small advance payment before starting the work in order to purchase the initial paint material.
  • The final payment is taken only after the painting is fully finished and you are 100% satisfied with the work.

6. Cleaning & Safety

It is my team's duty to cover your floors, switches, and heavy furniture with masking tape and drop cloths before starting. Once the paint is dry, we will clean the paint drops from the floor before handing over the house to you.

7. Timelines

We strictly follow timelines. However, please understand that exterior painting or waterproofing can sometimes be delayed by 1 to 2 days due to heavy rain or bad weather, as damp walls cannot be painted.

8. Society Approvals & Utilities

For flats and gated societies, it is the customer's responsibility to arrange entry passes and RWA permissions for our professional team. Additionally, basic utilities like water and electricity required for the painting process must be provided by the customer at the site.
